Tuesday was a national holiday here in Greece. It is sort of like an Independence Day from the Italians (any of you remember that from our wedding day??? The priest made a comment about how Manolis was the only Greek saying "yes" to an Italian on oxi "no" day) Anyway, they have a parade through Chania, so we took Sofia...the parades are nothing compared to our parades in Babylon Village, but it will still fun and the weather was beautiful.
It's never a good idea to cram that many Greeks on the side of the streets to watch their children walk by. I must have been pushed about 20 times (obviously they were too pre-occupied to notice I was 38 weeks pregnant!!!) They wouldn't even let us through with the stroller so Sofia could watch!!!!
